Port995 Features

Can I use Port995 from any ISP?
Yes. Port995 is designed to work with any Internet connection.
Can I use Outlook/Eudora/Netscape with Port995?
Yes, as well as any other email clients which support POP or IMAP. For help on setting up a variety of email programs to use Port995, see our HowTo.
Can I send and receive email from anywhere in the world?
Yes. As well as using email clients such as Outlook or Eudora to collect email, you can use our own webmail facility, meaning that you only need access to an Internet connection and a web browser to keep up to date with your email, wherever you are.
Can I use my own domain names?
Yes. You can host email for any number of your own domain names into your Port995 account. For information on hosting the email for a domain with Port995, see our HowTo.
How many email addresses can I have?
You can create as many email addresses as you like for any domains within your account.
Can I use my Port995 account to provide email addresses for everyone in my office?
Yes. The account holder acts as an administrator for all of the email addresses, and can add or remove addresses, as well as modify the settings on existing ones. You can set up as many mailboxes as you like in your account and give each a seperate password.
Can Port995 collect emails from other mailboxes for me?
No, Port995 can not collect email once it has been delivered to an external mailbox. Instead, you can ask the hosts of that account to either Alter the domain so that it's email is hosted here or forward email for that address on to an address hosted here. We hope to add a facility for collecting email from external mailboxes via POP in the near future.
If I run out of storage space, can I upgrade?
Yes. You can add extra blocks of 10Mb (up to a maximum of 500Mb) as needed. See our prices page for further details.
